That said, having it within reach for programming is an advantage. - Standard UTE NF C15-100 and good practice must be complied with. - Connected or nearby equipment must not generate excessive interference (directives 2004/108/CE). Switch off the mains power before handling the device. Mounting To mount the unit on the wall, it must be separated from its base. Once separated from the case, the base must be wall-mounted with screws and plugs or installed in a flush-mounted box (distance between centres 60mm) using the ➊ holes. Knockout partitions are provided for passing the connection wires (➋ : for flush-mounted box, ➌ : for wall-mounting) Connect the two power leads to the terminal. Replace the device on its base and attach it with the tightening screw. For a projecting mounting, the cable (2 wires, class 2) must reach the unit via a cable duct. Switch on the installation. 2 3 When the installation is switched on for the first time, the display will only appear after around 30 sec. (back-up capacitor charging period). Only an hourglass flashes at this time. Note: To protect the DRIVER CPL power supply, you must use a 10 A circuit breaker at least (do not use a 2 A circuit breaker). -6- -7- Starting up Startup mode enables the PLC products to be combined amongst themselves and the installation organisation to be determined (transmitters, receivers, pilot wire type, load shedding, etc.). Note: You may only define one type of pilot wire for each zone. 1 On the DRIVER 230 CPL, you can associate a “PLC transmitter” type device (GECPL1, GP4 CPL, TYPHONE 2 CPL, etc.). Otherwise, confirm to move onto the next step 4 Enter startup mode. The unit displays “EMET” alternating with “----”. Turn the knob to . Set the clock if necessary (see user guide) or press to move onto the next step. The unit displays PArA. 2 Associating Driver 230 with a transmitter 3 Determining the type of pilot wire Press the and buttons simultaneously. The unit displays FP4 (4-order pilot wire) or FP6 (6 order pilot wire) for zone 1. Press the and buttons to determine the type of pilot wire used, then press validate. Repeat the operation for zones 2 and 3. to • To associate an energy manager type transmitter (GECPL1, GP4 CPL, etc.) Confirm on the transmitter (see the relevant guide). The display reads GE--. Note: Press Z1 Z2 Z3 to cancel. • To associate a PLC telephone remote control type transmitter (TYPHONE 2 CPL) Confirm on the transmitter (see the relevant guide). The display reads --TL. Note: Press to cancel. If DRIVER 230 CPL is associated with 2 types of transmitter, the display reads GETL. Press to confirm your choice and move on to the next stage. -8- -9- Starting up 4 Allocation of receivers You must associate each receiver to the central control unit and you can determine the load-shedding channel to which it is allocated (if DRIVER 230 CPL is associated with an energy manager: GECPL1, GP4 CPL, etc.). 4.1 The unit is associated with a GECPL1, GP4 CPL, etc. ➊ Press or to select the load-shedding channel to which the receivers will be allocated. The load-shedding channel can be selected from d:0 to d:6 (d:0 = no load shedding). For use with GECPL1, channels d4, d5 and d6 must not be allocated (no load-shedding). Selecting the load-shedding channel 4.2 The unit is not associated with a GECPL1, GP4 CPL, etc. The "EMET" screen flashes.
