WORKS TO ADAPT AND EXTEND RUNWAY 31R
TURNING BAY - ELDORADO INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT
Hasta el 23 de Septiembre de 2012 (fecha estimada),
se realizarán obras para la adecuación y ampliación
del apartadero de viraje de Pista 31R.
Until September 23, 2012 (estimated date), there will
be works to adapt and extend the runway 31R turning
bay.
Estas obras se realizarán en dos fases, siendo las
zonas afectadas las que se reflejan en las figuras 1 y
2 que se muestran más adelante.
These works will be conducted in two phases; the
affected areas in each of those, are reflected in figures
1 and 2 shown below.
Las obras que afectan la calle de acceso a la pista se
realizarán mediante cierres puntuales en horarios
diurnos y/o en horarios de menor tráfico de
aeronaves. Cualquier modificación a este respecto se
notificará por NOTAM.
The works that affect the access road to runway, will
be implemented through specific closures during the
day and / or times of lower traffic of aircraft. Any
change in this regard shall be notified by NOTAM.
Todas las zonas de obras estarán debidamente
señalizadas y con balizamiento diurno y nocturno.
All construction sites shall be properly marked with
day and night beaconing.
El sistema de seguridad operacional del concesionario
del aeropuerto Internacional Eldorado OPAIN,
establecerá las medidas de mitigación necesarias
para asegurar el nivel aceptable de seguridad
operacional. En todas ellas se recomienda precaución
debido a la presencia de personal y maquinaria, así
como el seguimiento a las disposiciones que OPAIN
establezca.
The safety system of dealer Eldorado International
Airport OPAIN, establish mitigation measures to
ensure the acceptable level of safety. All mitigation
measures recommended caution due to the presence
of personnel and equipment, and follow the provisions
laid down by OPAIN.
El personal encargado de la dirección de las obras,
estará permanentemente en contacto con la torre de
control del aeropuerto y con la Unidad de Flujo,
posición AGA (Teléfono (57-1) 2962200, email:

The staff responsible for the supervision of works will
be permanently in contact with the airport control
tower and the flow unit, position AGA (Telephone
(57-1) 2962200, email: [email protected]).
Diariamente OPAIN, a través de un Inspector de
Plataforma (IP), notificará a la Torre de Control
cuando los trabajos hayan finalizado y se haya
retirado el personal y la maquinaria.
Daily OPAIN, through an Inspector Platform (IP), will
notify to control tower when the works are completed
and staff and equipment has been withdrawn.
El servicio de Extinción de Incendios está notificado
de las obras y estará dispuesto para atender cualquier
eventualidad.
Fire Fighting services are notified of the works and will
be ready to deal with any eventuality.

Se realizan trabajos de excavación profunda,
conformación de la sub-rasante y colocación de
materiales de la estructura de pavimento,
demarcación y balizaje.
The work area includes deep excavations, formation
of the sub-grade and placing material of the pavement
structure, demarcation and marking.



viraje de Pista 31R (1.400 M2 aproximadamente).

 Se permite el paso de aeronaves hasta Categoría
C por el costado oeste (eje izquierdo) del
apartadero de viraje de Pista 31R, en cualquier
configuración de la Pista 13L/31R.
 It allows passing aircraft until Category C by West
side (left axis) of Runway 31R turning bay, in any
configuration of Runway 13L/31R.
 Las aeronaves categoría D o superior que
aterricen por la pista 13L, tendrán que hacer viraje
de 180° sobre la pista (Backtrack) y salir
preferencialmente por la calle de rodaje B o en su
defecto por la calle de rodaje J.
 Aircraft category D or above landing on runway
13L will have to turn 180° on the runway
(backtrack) and preferentially leave for taxiway B
or failing for taxiway J.
 Para despegues de aeronaves categoría D o
superior en configuración occidente, solo se
permite el uso de la pista 31L. En caso de no ser
posible el ingreso a la pista 31R por el apartadero
de viraje de Pista 31R por cierre u obstrucción, se
debe hacer por la calle de rodaje B y se tendrán
que hacer viraje de 180° (Backtrack) en el umbral
de la Pista 31R.
 For take-offs of aircraft category D or higher in
west configuration, only allows the use of runway
31L. In case if not possible the entrance to runway
31R by the runway 31R turning bay due to closure
or obstruction, it should be entered by the taxiway
B and will have to turn of 180° (backtrack) on the
threshold of Runway 31R.
 El ATC asignará la Pista 13R para el aterrizaje de
las aeronaves categoría D (B767, DC10, MD11,
B767, B757, A330, A300, A310, A340, B747,
A340).
 The ATC assigned runway 13R for landing aircraft

runway13L, it allows the passage of aircraft of any
category by the demarcated axis of runway 31R
turning bay (located on the taxiway center).
 Se recomienda precaución debido a la presencia
de excavaciones y material en el área de los
trabajos.

Los procedimientos ILS y CAT II de la pista 13R se
mantienen activos.

Runway 13R ILS and CAT II procedures, remain
active.

Entre las 1100 y las 2300 UTC, el ILS de la pista
13L estará inoperativo. Quedan disponibles los
procedimientos de aproximación IAC RNAV 13L,
IAC VOR o NDB 13L.

Between 1100 and 2300 UTC, ILS Runway 13L
will be inoperative. IAC RNAV 13L, IAC VOR or
NDB 13L are available.

Entre las 2300 y las 1100 UTC estará operativo el
ILS de la pista 13L.

Between 2300 and 1100 UTC Runway 13L ILS
will be available.

En cualquier horario, mientras duren los trabajos
no se podrán activar los LVP para la pista
13L/31R.

In any schedule, while the works continues, LVP
cannot be activated for Runway 13L/31R.
