creada en el 1996 para planificar y poner en
práctica estrategias de revitalización del

vecindario.

Un gran lugar para visitar. . .
La mision de "AHNA" es la de preservar y
mejorar el vecindarion de Asylum Hill a través
de los esfuerzos de cooperación de los
residentes y la de aquellos que tienen intereses
en Asylum Hill, tales como dueños de
negocios, empresas, dueños de propiedad y
organizaciones culturales y sin fines de lucro.
Todos se unen como voluntarios y trabajan
por una causa común: la de mejora de Asylum
Hill.

COMITE de EDUCACIÓN
Committee promotes learning for all ages,
improving the educational and recreational
opportunities in Asylum Hill, and providing
information on academic enrichment.
COMITÉ DE SEGURIDAD PUBLICA
Committee works to improve relations
between the police and fire depts. and the
community, and to increase their
effectiveness in Asylum Hill in order to
establish a safer neighborhood for all its
residents and visitors.
Asylum Hill Boys & Girls Club
COMITÉ DE VIVIENDA y del
MEDIO AMBIENTE
Committee works to preserve and enhance
our historic heritage by creating more home
ownership opportunities, reducing density,
creating off-street parking and encouraging
restoration, reuse and recycling whenever
possible. Asylum Hill is home to the largest
intact Victorian neighborhood in Hartford.
